Media
Player Information
In order to listen to the sound
samples on the site you will need to have Windows Media Player
installed on you computer. This will be included with all recent versions
of Windows - you will know this if the 'a' and 'b'
links automatically open Media Player.
If however, you don't already have it installed,
you can download and install from the link below:
Windows XP users: The XP version of Media Player does not
include the codec required to play the older clips on the site. You will
need to install 'codec 75'. When Internet Explorer first attempts to download
the codec it will fail and give a security warning - as its not a Microsoft
file you'll need to temporarily disable ActiveX controls to install it.
Here's how its done:
Go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Security
--> Custom Level --> Download
unsigned ActiveX controls --> Enable
Important! Once the codec has been installed
you should go back into Internet Options and 'Disable' the Active
X option - for your own security.
Mac Users:
Media Player is also available for Apple Mac users.
I can be downloaded through the links below:
